A maturity is the date a time-locked position becomes redeemable. The Maturity Ladder sorts every locked position by how close that date is.

For positions that are locked without a fixed unlock date (some staking products, some vaults), Retina puts them in the LOCKED bucket rather than guessing a date.

How bucketing works

Every locked position falls into 1 of 7 buckets based on the gap between today and its maturity:
