# Wallets, positions, and protocols

> Move from a portfolio total to the wallet, position, token, and protocol that explains it.

These 3 views answer different levels of the same question: what do I own, where is it, and how is it structured?

## Wallets

The Wallets view groups value across EVM, Solana, and Hyperliquid sources. Each wallet row shows its label, address, networks, position count, value, and portfolio weight.

Open a wallet to inspect:

* Its positions and spot holdings
* Exposure by protocol, chain, and asset
* Wallet value history
* Relevant wallet activity

The spot holdings section combines matching tokens across wallets. Open a token to inspect its holders and position details.

## Positions

The Positions view is the most detailed portfolio table. It contains detected and manual positions from the current snapshot, with an option to include earlier snapshots.

Filter by wallet, chain, protocol, asset, position type, or source. Search token names, protocols, and notes. You can hide dust and export the filtered result as CSV.

Select a row to inspect available fields such as amount, value, protocol, maturity, APY, liquidity, wallet identity, and source.

Use **+ Add position** for a manual holding. Editing a manual position affects the current working portfolio and future snapshots. Saved older snapshots remain unchanged.

## Protocols

The Protocols view groups the active snapshot by protocol. Each card summarizes value, position count, asset exposure, APY, and estimated daily income where available.

Use the filters and sorting controls to find the largest protocol exposures or compare yield-bearing groups.

## Export options

The export menu can produce:

* A text file of tracked addresses
* A full Retina backup in JSON
* A filtered positions CSV from the Positions view

Use the full JSON backup when you need a restorable copy. CSV is intended for analysis outside Retina.
