# Prediction markets

> How Retina reads open Polymarket positions, resolution dates, shares, entry, P&L, and implied Win APR from the Polymarket public API for every flagged wallet.

**Polymarket** is the only prediction market provider Retina uses today. The [Polymarket](/pages/polymarket) page calls Polymarket's public API directly when you open it, for every wallet you flagged as a Polymarket wallet during [setup](/getting-started/quickstart).

Surfaced data per position:

* Market and resolution date
* Side (Yes / No)
* Shares, average entry, current price
* Value, P\&L, P\&L%
* Implied Win APR

Polymarket data on the Polymarket page is live, not snapshotted. When you create a snapshot, the Polymarket state at that moment is frozen into the snapshot for the History view.
